1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of EscrowCorner, an escrow-based payment gateway service operated by Damas Complex Technology Company Limited (“Dacotech Co. LTD,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our platform.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• “EscrowCorner” – refers to the online escrow payment service platform.
   
• “User” – any person or entity registered to use EscrowCorner services.
   
• “Buyer” – a user who deposits funds into escrow to purchase goods or services.
   
• “Seller” – a user who receives payment from escrow for goods or services provided.
   
• “Escrow Account” – a holding account managed by EscrowCorner until completion of a transaction.
   
• “Transaction” – any payment or deal facilitated via EscrowCorner between a Buyer and Seller.
   

3. Eligibility

You may use EscrowCorner only if you:

1. Are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
    
2. Have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
    
3. Provide true, accurate, and complete registration details.
    
4. Are not barred by any law, sanction, or regulation from using escrow or financial services.
    

4. Scope of Services

EscrowCorner provides a secure escrow payment system designed to:

• Receive and temporarily hold Buyer funds.
   
• Notify Sellers of payment deposits.
   
• Release funds to Sellers only upon Buyer’s confirmation of receipt of goods or services.
   
• Provide dispute resolution when necessary.
   

Note: EscrowCorner is not a bank, financial institution, lender, or investment company. We do not provide credit or interest-bearing accounts.

5. User Obligations

5.1 Buyer Responsibilities

• Deposit sufficient funds into escrow before the Seller commences delivery.
   
• Confirm receipt of goods/services promptly upon delivery.
   
• Raise disputes in good faith within the stipulated timeframes.
   

5.2 Seller Responsibilities

• Deliver goods/services as described, on time, and in good condition.
   
• Provide delivery evidence (receipts, tracking, confirmations) when required.
   
• Refrain from fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive practices.
   

6. Transaction Flow

1. Buyer deposits funds into EscrowCorner.
    
2. EscrowCorner verifies and notifies the Seller.
    
3. Seller delivers the agreed goods/services.
    
4. Buyer confirms satisfactory receipt.
    
5. EscrowCorner releases funds to Seller.
    
6. In case of dispute, EscrowCorner withholds funds until resolution.
    

7. Fees and Charges

• EscrowCorner charges a transaction fee, disclosed prior to confirmation.
   
• Fees may be borne by Buyer, Seller, or both depending on EscrowCorner’s decision.
   
• Fees are non-refundable, except where EscrowCorner cancels a transaction due to internal error.
   

8. Prohibited Uses

Users are strictly prohibited from using EscrowCorner for:

• Fraudulent transactions, scams, or money laundering.
   
• Sale or purchase of illegal or restricted goods/services.
   
• Circumventing sanctions, regulatory restrictions, or financial laws.
   
• Any activity harmful to EscrowCorner’s integrity, reputation, or technology.
   

9. Dispute Resolution

• If a Buyer and Seller disagree, either party may raise a dispute.
   
• EscrowCorner will review evidence including communications, invoices, and delivery proofs.
   
• EscrowCorner’s decision is final and binding, unless overruled by a competent court or arbitral tribunal.
   
• In certain cases, disputes may be referred to independent arbitration in accordance with Cameroonian law.
   

10. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for delays caused by banks, payment processors, internet outages, or third parties.
   
• EscrowCorner’s maximum liability in any transaction is limited to the escrowed amount in dispute.
   

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to:

• Verification of your identity (KYC).
   
• Use of your information to facilitate transactions.
   
• Disclosure of information where legally required.
   

12. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms.
   
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
   
• Provide false information or misuse the platform.
   

EscrowCorner may also freeze funds if suspicious activity is detected until investigations are complete.

13. Amendments

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cameroon, unless arbitration is mutually agreed.
